JK,
I have a special sympathy for Celtic... but I'd loved Celtic much more if they kicked Milan out of Champions League!
I swear I hoped that Celtic could do that with all my heart!

Agreed, they didn't help much in that respect!

Hey John!

One of my dearest friends is a total West Brom devotee/follower.  So yeah, he's still hurtin' by what your Derby guys did to his team.

Anything you want me to relay to the aforementioned Albion fan on your behalf??

It just wasn't their day. I thought the game was so even,it could easily been them not us in the Prem. On the season's performance,Derby deserved what luck was around on Monday. like it or not, luck is a factor in football,so my commiserations
to your friend, but there'll be another season soon, and if they keep playing like they
have been, they'll go up next time.Take a look at who's coming down!

Well you might be wrong with your assumption, I for one am interested being an Englishman and I must say I congratulate Derby on their determination to succeed and of their manager, who I would think is destined to rise into the stratosphere in the next few years.
As I said previously I am a great fan but my team , gosh I dont know whats gonna happen with them, the once mighty LEEDS. Help is greatly needed there. Thanks for your reply to the Wetton/Manzenara question, also one last point, as the Brook, Southampton has gone into liquidation does this affect your tour date there, cheers, best wishes all, Mike

This, in my opinion,  was the greatest match of all time.  1972 Germany v. Greece.

John, congrats on Derby County advancing to the Premier League.
Central Jersey is a hotbed for Football and we were all very proud of our native son,John Harkes when he played for Derby and Sheffield Wednesday.

Mr. Harkes, the pride of Kearny! First yank in Premier League, right?

How far back was he with Derby....Mid nineties? Was a short stint if I recall.

I am reassured by Davvers Magnate, our manager and lifelong Leeds United fan,
that The Brook show will stand. I'm pleased about this, as it means I will be playing two shows in the New Forest area before the end of the year. None in Derby,however----that's something we really must rectify next year.

Great news about the Brook, seen you there in many incarnations, Quango, Sinister and acoustically, by the way will we be invited around yours for tea before hand?

Apologies for the delayed congrats..I was unable to see the game..on hols abroad. It does seem predictable each season for sure. The ups and the downs...Rams the exception of course.Finally...your thoughts on the hallowed turf.
2000 toilets...as many catering things.Nice surface would be a priority in my book.
