King Crimson recently (like 3 or 4 yrs ago) did a mini tour with TOOL and TOOL referrences KC as one of their greatest influences.  I can see the influence in song structure, but they (TOOL) definitely have a sound of their own.  I am not sure that anyone has matched the KC sound.

Who originally did "Fanfare for the Common Man?"

Saw Asia do that song a couple of times on this last tour, and they totally rocked it!

"n00b?"

"woah?"

My gawd, Johan, I must be getting old. When newer slang and long-established interjections are misspelled (not shortened, not re-arranged, just misspelled), I actually find myself wondering why...

Ouch!  I did not even see that one!

Speaking of Mr. Copland, anyone ever read Copland's book, "What to listen for in music"?

Pete, go find a cave. hahaa!

He would have been known as Kaplan, had his father not Anglicized his name to Copland.  Interesting bio.
