People who are fans of YES and ELP definitely go to Asia shows for Carl and Steve but there's tons of us who are there for you. When I was a teenager, all of us who loved Asia watched the videos just to see you and I feel the same as Sexy does. I won't go to see Asia if you're not part of it. Geoff has a ton of fans too. He has a reputation of being a sweetheart so he's got a bunch of girl fans who are crazy for him.

Ladies rock, ladies rule, Sir Wetton. You'd not want to disagree with all this estrogen now, wouldja? Obvs., whoever cited that 'fact' to you was mistaken, or at least (perhaps) not talking to the ladies in your audience. We may be a smaller contingent than our male counterparts in some of your audiences, but we're doubly passionate...and three times prettier than some male Yes fans I've seen (no offense intended to ANYONE, so leave me be)! So there. 'Just a thought. As for me, musically, as a non-muso, it's always been your lyrics and musical composition that intrigued, and the voice was pudding in da cupcake.
Now back to our regularly scheduled gushing...

John, so much has already been said. Amie, Sexy, Evelyn, all Wettonettes, it's not just your voice, JW, but personal touch you bring to ALL. Just look at your GBers. Just look at the number of posts for today. Just look there goes my evening. Enough said.
Edit: Okay, alright, Amie, I'll gush; although, I was into Asia before I was hooked up to cable and then hooked on MTV. Heavy rotation. A last thought, for now, where are most that were on when MTV was MTV and look at where you, Sir John, are now.

In my life I've seen Steve solo show, Carl solo show (more than once) but nothing can be compared to the emotion that John gave me with his solo show... John you know that I'm there for you!

I don't think John was complaining so much as acknowledging that there has always been a more fanatical muso-hero-following for guitarists & drummers. Check out the musician section of your local newsstand... a plethora of guitar-magazines, and more drummer rags than publications for bassists, vocalists, keyboardists. In any case, I'm sure none of us would be frequenting this site were it not for our support of Mr.Wetton 
My gaze constantly shifts from one member to the next at AsiA concerts - so much to take in from all four talented musicians!

Oh, I'm certain Sir Wetton isn't complaining -- hardly seems his style, does it? I've commented simply to reiterate that (imhhhhho) without the forum Johan creates as a lyricist and composer, along with his highly respected collaborators, there's no Asiamusique, and as such, no performance by Asia as a whole, let alone the individual parts therein.
Besides, I needed a place to use "pudding in da cupcake." Ahem.

Els -- I'm just not typically comfortable in tight, crowded, pushy, loud and sweaty places. There are exceptions. Ahem. I like my space with my music, if'n ya know what I mean. I'm one of those who will wander around at a concert, if it's at all possible. 'Tis just my nature, I suppose.
